UAG has a new SRGE slim charger for you

5,000mAh ready to snap itself to your phone in a slim housing that's easy to carry.

I'll admit, I'm all about the MagSa ... err PixelSnap features now.  And now that the Pixel 10 has Qi2 I don't have to worry about those kinds of adapters anymore.

For those of you who know me, one of my anxieties about phones isn't that it might fall and break (tho' I do baby it quite a lot), it's that I may not have enough power; so I'm always charging it up whenever I can.  Keeping chargers always near me is important, and then having now the option for wireless, that's way easier.

A while back, I got to review the UAG Rugged 10,000mAh wireless battery charger with stand.  It's bulky, but it carries a lot of juice.  It's also a bit of a punch at $140CDN.

Well, they've got a new model for $98CDN which is now halved for the battery, but way more than halved for it size (you could save $15 more by getting one without the kickstand if you like).

Being slim definitely makes it more portable.

The kickstand is definitely worth having.

Now, with the bigger, there is the added benefit of having a USB-A output, so you could wirelessly charge one thing and then plug in another.

But having something so slim, and easy to carry is definitely worth the tradeoff.  So much easier to keep in a pocket/purse.  I let my wife use it a couple times and when I went to ask for it back she didn't think she still had it as she couldn't feel it in her little purse.

It charges up by USB-C port, and you do get a nice cord in the box too.  The underside has the battery indicator (I wished it was at the side, as it'd be easier to see while charging).  Opposite the charging port is a 'button' - it's to 'start' charging, but I've always had it just start as soon as it snapped to the back of the phone.

Being smaller than it's bigger one, when you use the kickstand, the phone itself will rest on the table (the rugged model would be big enough that the phone - even large ones - would still be off the table).  Don't think that really matters, but just something I noticed.

And trust me, you want the kick stand.  $15 well spent in my opinion.  If I'm gonna charge it, I like to be up and facing me, not laying down on the desk.

It's my new every day carry accessory!
