Mujjo's magnetic wallet isn't JUST for iPhones

Okay - alright already - give credit where credit is due.  MagSafe is a good thing.  And having magnets positioned on the back of your phone is useful for more things than just positioning for charging.

Back in the day the MotoMods used magnets (and pogo pins) to help align for a variety of different accessories.  Nowadays, it's mostly relegated to things that will help stick to your phone you might want - you've already seen the UAG Ring Stands, but let's look at something I might use more often... a wallet.

Or, I might not use my wallet as often because I've got Google Pay for everything, but that being said, you still need to carry some cards around with you.  ID badges for work; Parking pass, driver's license, etc..

Having them actually with you might come in handy; and since I've moved pretty much everything over to 'tap to pay' style actions, my wallet is further and further away from me (what used to be in my back pocket is now often at the bottom of my backpack).  So having something that can keep them ready at hand is ... handy.

Enter, the Magnetic Wallet from Mujjo.

This $75(cad) wallet is pricey for sure, but despite it's description on the website, you can use it for more devices than just the iPhone.  As long as your device has a MagSafe compatible accessory (like the UAG Plyo case, or the Scosche adapter) and you're good to go, just like an iPhone.

They not only come in a swath of nifty colours (mine shown is 'monaco blue', I think - it just says 'blue' on the box).

I had a little concern that with the 'iPhone' compatibility it may not work with other devices for cases or camera bumps/bars, but I eventually found the right spot for it to connect.  I was estimating it should be the centre of the wallet, but that would have put it a little too high, so it's really moreso about the top 1/3rd of the wallet, so the bottoms almost line up.

I do like the back side of it, it's not just leather/magnet on magnet, it has rubberized 'ridges' on it to help make sure it maintains some 'friction' and the right amount of lift away from the phone so that it's easy to take off the phone, and put down on a table and not slide away.

As for how well it works, it holds about 3 cards without any issue, but I think it's probably about the limit of what you'd want to put in there and not over stretch (maybe a card and some cash?)

I also found that using it I was often taking it off so that I could charge the phone (or just have it on a car holder I repurposed for a desk stand).  So I found that I had it 'off' the phone for about as long as I would have it on - but that's okay, as it still kinda forced me to keep the wallet near me, which meant that IF I needed something from it, it wasn't tucked away in my backpack I'd have to go find.  Which lets me leave the wallet and some of the more superfluous cards out of sight and not muddying up the 'easy to use' wallet

Pretty neat accessory if you ask me!
