I'm loving my AI lately. Been showcasing it to a lot of colleagues, and I'm trying to find ways to implement its efficiencies into my life lately.
One of my favourite tools for digesting a lot of information is the Notebook tool.
This is a bit of a sandboxed AI, where you feed it specific information and tell it to come up with details. I've put in football rulebooks and created quizzes, or a presentation on changes. I've given it the recordings from several judges on our pipeband competition and had it summarize their feedback for the band.
This is the tool that can then create podcasts... and so much more.
Well, with the recent popularity of Gemini and AI they have decided to loop it into the Gemini ecosystem (you already could create 'notebooks' in Gemini and see recent ones) they have now renamed it to Gemini Notebook.
What else changed? Nothing, but the name so it's clearer of the connection between the 2; which makes sense as there's so MANY other AI offerings out there, it'd be important to ensure people know that this is part of the Google/Gemini ecosystem.
