Stadia controller tool still open to help get some use out of that nostalgic device

Way back when Google ultimately made the decision to axe the Stadia program (damn, I loved that platform); there were some of us who had those controllers that were sort of specific to just using on Stadia - so what were we to do?

There was the Bluetooth controller converter tool from Google.  Essentially, firmware updated your controller to just be a plain ol' Bluetooth game pad.  No more wifi options.

Originally, it was supposed to 'sunset' and you had a limited time to make that change, and then they extended it; and then they just now extended it again for another year.

I've started to use my Gamevice as I found games like HAAK or Deadcells to play on some killer devices (funny how little controller support there is out there for Android), and I realize I still have 2 Stadia controllers out there.  Granted, I already did the switch, but now I could look at maybe finding those phone stands for the phone they used to have (or try 3D printing one).

Stadia lives on, or at least the controller does - as the tool is available until Dec 2025
