I have to admit I'm not a fan of the top down kinda wander around in a maze like map. I get discombobulated if I can't rotate views etc...
But, I liked Darksiders 2 so I thought I'd give this game a try. It's sort of the prequel, and front what I can tell it's a bit of a stray from the other styles of a first person kind.
It's also meant to be played as a tandem game, but with one person you can switch between War & Strife depending on how you feel like playing.
