So, just recently I got a little package in the mail. Sony knows entertainment!
This is the phone I've been wanting to give a try. Sony has been flying low under the radar for the past while, and I'm betting most of you had even forgotten that Sony made phones. +Mark Lastiwka used to be a big brand ambassador for them.
After that I hadn't really heard much. We did just do the review for the XA2 Ultra and it's a great device. Still a good addition to my lineup at home. I use it like a mini tablet at times.
But the XZ lineup is the flagship level stuff. And the new XZ2 (non-compact) not only has a proper fingerprint sensor (no more side of the device awkwardness) it also has Qi.
That's a big plus.
Speaking of 'big plusing', it's not going to be cheap. $1100 is definitely up there. But it will come to Bell and Freedom Mobile, so look for some subsidy pricing soon. (if you wanted to save a few dollars there is the Compact model available at Videotron)
For the time being, I'll be giving the device a good run through and have a review up for you in about a week or 2. So plenty of time before it's available for purchase. If you have questions, let me know.
