I can't believe it's June already. Summer's almost here, it feels like it.
We've seen some new phones lately (Moto Z2 Play, G6, S8, Essential, KEYone ...) and that's not all.
Available today from a variety of carriers is going to be the new LG Stylo 3 Plus.
This is cool as we never did get to see the Stylo range in Canada before. It's a neat little device that will compete ... well, it won't compete with the Samsung in terms of specs, but just based on the pen. It is a mid-range device (see specs below) so it will compete for space in what I might think of as the 'older demographic'. So someone who doesn't need a powerhouse device, but the folks I see in the coffee shops who pull out their phone and then use a stylus.
You know, they pull their phone out and have a flip case and then have one of those stubby stylus accessories. Personally, I can't understand those things, so not sleek and so easy to use.
Well, the Stylo 3 Plus has a big screen and a way more accurate stylus. Well, I'd be interested in testing it out at least.

Newest mid-range device offers a practical yet powerful design
TORONTO, June 2, 2017 — LG Electronics (LG) is heating up the mass-tier smartphone segment in Canada with the introduction of the all new Stylo 3 Plus. The Stylo 3 Plus offers a precision, fine-tip pen which lets you take notes, draw, select, and mark up, all on your smartphone.
This third generation device is the latest version of LG’s mid-range Stylo smartphone (Stylus outside of North America). The Stylo 3 Plus delivers an improved writing experience with a 1.8mm diameter fiber-tip stylus to provide the feel and feedback of an actual pen when writing on the screen. The Stylo 3 Plus also features a fingerprint scanner and enhanced user-experience with Pen Pop 2.0 as well as the popular Pen Keeper and Screen-off Memo.
With Pen Pop 2.0, your memos are never out of sight and can be set to display on the screen whenever the stylus is removed. Pen Keeper displays a warning when the stylus strays too far from the phone, and Screen-off Memo enables note-taking directly on the screen even when the display is off.
