Samsung draws a line in the sand for KLP5.0 updates

Keeping track of updates is something of a hard thing.  There's lots of research and drilling through websites and feeds (curses ye Google Gods for killing off Reader).  So much so that I have to start cataloging the information I do get into a database... yes... I make databases.

Well I did some updating today to it as I heard some news from Samsung about which of their devices will be timelined for the, as of yet unannounced Key Lime Pie 5.0, and which won't.

Now, this is still somewhat 3rd handed, so nothing's set in stone.  So, get ready to take these salty bits of gossip (i.e. take it with a grain of salt).
Out of SamMobile they announced a plan out of Samsung's intention to update specific devices to 5.0, and others would get to 4.2.2 but that would be it.

Also, because of the wide variance of model within Canada we can only 'conjecture' what our situation in Canada would be.  But it's a good guess.
