This is new, I don't remember getting some of these options on my Pixel 10 last year. But it's nice to see what start having some options on how we connect to other monitors.
If you plug in an adapter for USB-C -> HDMI you get the option, like we had before, to either use Desktop / Mirror. But I now could find an option in the settings under 'Connected Devices' and see the external monitor to adjust settings (toggle between mirror or desktop, resolution, rotation, etc...)
There's even the 'universal mouse' option for the 1st monitor (i.e. your phone) where your mouse can go between the 2 like extended monitors on regular devices.
I'm going to have to try and play a little more with this, as I'd love to be able to pare down to just one device with like plug and go. Unfortunately, it didn't work with a dual monitor output adapter, it picked one of the displays and just copied it to both. Well at least it's a start.
