It had been about 2 weeks since Google had sent over the Pixel 11 Pro XL for me to do my review (a fuller, in depth, review coming soon) and without a case it had me nervous. The phone is slippery without a case, and it's a bigger phone than I'm used to, so every day felt like myself growing more nervous about the inevitable drop.
Luckily, a chat with our friends over at UAG meant that they sent over their 3 options for me to protect the device
This TPU case is good for protection up to 10ft dropping. A great starting point for protection, allowing you to still show off your colour choice. It's a single, solid design (meaning that the buttons are a little 'stiffer' to push but not limiting), there is a nice cut out for the USB port so any cable I'd tried can still fit. Not that it's a concern for me, but there is no 'lanyard' anchor spot.
It still works with magnet charging, but I'd noticed that 2 of my stand up chargers that the phone works no problem without a case, had some issues with the case on.
This is the one I would definitely recommend, it has the advantage of still 'seeing' your phone and giving it a decent amount of protection without being overly bulky. The 'rails' over the sides do feel a little think and there's a definite 'ridge' when trying to do gesture navigation (swiping from the edge of the screen inward, where your finger can really feel that height difference from the 'wall' of the case and the level of the screen. Not that it'll stop me, but it's noticeable.
The other thing to keep in mind is that there's no mentioning of UV protection, so would be interesting after a while, as just about every clear case I've seen has turned that light yellowing from exposure.
If only I can figure out why my chargers no longer work on some of those
stands (potentially the base of the case gets it to stand a little higher and
it's now missing that 'sweet spot' as it still works on ones I lay it down on
them).

This is in a smoky grey (they call 'ash') that is not as transparent as the clear, so you can get the 'hint' of your colour of the phone. This is a little more rigid a case and prevents up to 15ft of drop protection. This does include the lanyard anchor points (if you need them).
The corners are more 'angled' instead of round, which should provide more impact resistance for when it lands there.
This looks sleek, the little dots give it that fine mesh look and doesn't sacrifice any protection and still feels very lightweight.
It also suffers from the issue of some stands it doesn't like (too high?). For a few dollars more it will give you some more peace of mind and is a nice compromise of full clear and full black.

Now, this one I have the general sense, but I was sent this one for the Pixel 11, so it doesn't fit my phone, but you can see how much more protection it has. Sharp corners, textured grip to hold, a softer rubber inside a shell design... this thing is made to be abused - it has an 18ft drop rating.
To me, it's a bit too much, but that depends on where your risk tolerance lies. The fact I do take a lot of precaution with my phones already, in my mind, mitigates needing the high end protection; which has the upside of me getting to see my phone a little more, and not being a big bulk in the pocket (I have a pocket on my pipeband tunic that the phones barely fit in at the best of times, adding a case means it can't be put there).
