I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying AI lately, and been using it for fun and some for work, but a whole lot for fun. And I've been so much into Gemini... it's something about the Google ecosystem and how they all work together; and today Canada gets to join in the whole "Personal Intelligence" feature Gemini had been showing off for a bit.
What's Personal Intelligence?
Well, would you like questions you ask it in Gemini to have some knowledge of something from your Gmail, or a photo from your account? Now it can. It's using what it sees from your emails or photos
"Hey when was the last time I was in Bayfield?"
Okay, so how did it know that? My maps? My Google Search, my photos? Well, in this case, it's because I asked my Google Home some questions about directions and if it would rain
I'm going ot love this deeper knowledge that Gemini will have about me.
Google shared this video of it in action about someone asking about their car (maybe it got a photo and knows its their car, maybe there's an email from the salesperson or mechanic about their car) and then asks it to find tire recommendations.
Wild
It's rolling out today; April 14th to paid Gemini users with the Free users over the next few weeks.
They are saying that this is turned off by default and you will have to turn it on (I haven't seen the feature yet).
