[New York, New York] – June 5, 2025 – Global technology brand OnePlus officially launched the OnePlus Pad 3, its latest flagship Android tablet. The OnePlus Pad 3 merges premium hardware with smart software and AI to create the ultimate tablet experience; it completely redefines the Android tablet market for 2025. The OnePlus Pad 3 will go on sale starting July 8 in the United States and Canada.
Breathtaking Design
OnePlus Pad 3 is designed to provide a premium and streamlined experience. Measuring less than six millimeters thin, OnePlus Pad 3 features an all metal unibody design that ensures it is strong and bend resistant, despite its slimness. It also houses eight symmetrically placed speakers - four woofers and four tweeters - to give a truly immersive audio experience. The tablet will come in one colorway called Storm Blue.
OnePlus Pad 3 features OnePlus' best tablet display yet. Measuring 13.2 inches, with a 3.4k resolution, 12-bit color depth and pixel density of 315 PPI, it's perfect for displaying everything from the latest blockbuster movie to your upcoming work presentation. Additionally, the device’s unique 7:5 aspect ratio means multitasking is an absolute breeze.
Top of the Line Hardware
OnePlus Pad 3 utilizes the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform, one of Qualcomm Technologies’ most powerful and fastest mobile system-on-a-chip (Based on Geekbench 6.2 MT, Geekbench 6.2 ST, Speedometer, and Antutu CPU). It's paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, giving you everything you need for high end working or high-end gaming. So you can game even longer, the tablet is equipped with a powerful cooling system which uses vapor chambers made of a graphene composite material to dissipate heat better than competing tablets. Powering all this hardware is a massive 12,140 mAh battery. It will stay on standby for 70 days and will hold its charge for more than two full years if switched off. When it does come time to charge, the 80W SUPERVOOC charging means a ten-minute charge gives users an extra 18 percent battery. In addition, users who purchase the device in the United States and Canada from the United States and Canada will receive an 80W SUPERVOOC charger in the box.
OxygenOS and Open Canvas
OnePlus Pad 3 ships with OxygenOS 15, the latest version of OnePlus' operating system, which comes with all the features, functions and AI tools OnePlus users love. That includes productivity features like AI Writer and AI Summarize, designed to make writing, translating and summarizing documents easier, as well as creativity functions like a wide range of photo customization tools and Google AI features like Gemini and Circle to Search.
OnePlus Pad 3 also comes with an improved Open Canvas feature. That means an improved system level drag and drop mechanism and a new way of starting the split screen function. For example, if you're trying to arrange a meetup with friends and find yourself flicking between the group chat and your maps app, OnePlus Pad 3 will automatically suggest you simply split your screen between the two apps.
The OnePlus Pad 3 will come with 3 Android OS updates and 6 years of bi-monthly security updates.
New Keyboard, Stylish Stylus and Converting Case
OnePlus Pad 3 launches alongside some high-end accessories as well. The new OnePlus Pad 3 Smart Keyboard has larger, spaced-out keycaps that give a PC-style feel, as well as a range of useful command keys and a dedicated AI button – all while retaining the same massive trackpad. It can also be adjusted to between 110- and 165-degree angles and continues to support NFC transfers and instant magnetic connection. These innovations come at no increase to the overall keyboard weight.
OnePlus Pad 3 pairs with OnePlus Stylo 2, a stylus pen that recognizes 16,000 different levels of pressure. OnePlus Pad 3 also uses the stylus in new ways – simply swipe the pen down in the upper right corner of the display and you can automatically annotate what's displayed on the tablet. Plus, if the display is off, a simple tap with OnePlus Stylo 2 will instantly take you to the shorthand notes page, perfect for jotting down quick ideas.
Finally, the new tri-folding design of the OnePlus Pad 3 Folio Case means it's stable at any angle. Fold the case up into a traditional triangle for a steady 20-degree angle, perfect for drawing, writing or taking notes. Adjust to the new triangular folded design and OnePlus Pad 3 adopts a 44-degree angle, allowing for inclined viewing when looked at head on. And for even higher angles, fold the case into its ‘Y’ shape for 60- and 72-degree viewing angles for even clearer reading. Whichever angle users pick, they're guaranteed easy use and easy access. By simply closing the case, OnePlus Pad 3 will automatically switch off. The new magnetic buckle also means the case protects OnePlus Stylo 2, helping ensure it never gets lost in a bag.

The OnePlus Pad 3, OnePlus Pad 3 Smart Keyboard, and OnePlus Pad 3 Folio Case will be available for pre-order on OnePlus.com in the United States and Canada on June 5, with open sale for these products beginning on July 8, 2025. OnePlus Pad 3 will be available for open sale at OnePlus.com and Amazon in the United States; and OnePlus.com and Best Buy in Canada.
The OnePlus Pad 3 Folio Case and OnePlus Pad 3 Smart Keyboard will only be available for purchase at OnePlus.com in the US and Canada.
