So, I like to go around town and really tout how much I love wireless charging.  No cords, no fuss, no muss... just plop on a Qi pad, and with magnets, even easier.  No fumbling... easy peasy.   No more cords

Except... you really do still need cords.  It's one of the first things I start packing whenever I am heading on a trip or somewhere for a meeting.  Make sure I have a charger, and a cord, just in case.

So, yeah, they are a great pair of cables.  I really like orange cables lately, don't know why - a sense of 'here I am' maybe.

First up, the magnetic cable is great, big metal collar on the connector so it's not going to easily get crunched or bent too easily.  The cord itself is a nice nylon braid that is flexible and has a good amount of rigidity at the time I like the texture.  

Embedded in that texture is some magnetic... stuff..., which this allows you to then have one coil of the wire 'attract' to another.  No more having to wind up around your fingers and 'twisting' the ends to try to bind it so the ends aren't loose.  Magnets do the work baby!

Next is their 'standard' cable, and it uses what it calls a 'silica gel' for the sleeve/jacket of the cord.  Feels like a rubber and is rated for 30,000 bends.

There also an ETek chip to help protect the charge flow (monitoring temp and voltage) to your device.

And both are 240W capable (in my testing I did see some of my measurements on an app register at 20W, which is good, but typically were reading about 12-14W -- which is enough for the OnePlus to believe it was in SuperVOOC mode).

And they're a good percentage cheaper than other brands I've reviewed on here.  No difference in charging speeds that I can tell.  So why not save a bit and check it out.
