Review of the Woowind Ventus Pro

Okay, so I posted about this the other day and I just got it!

I love these kinds of gadgets.  $70USD or $117

And, it came at just the right time.  Sure, my tires on my van probably could use some filling (but I will be changing them for my summer tires soon), but we just got my kid a new bike for the season.

So, let's charge it up and it's just a USB-C port and just on a regular USB-A cord, it filled up pretty quickly.

Getting it home the tires were ... woefully under-inflated, so I gave it a good go.  Air pressure was to be 40-60PSI, and I like it on the higher end.  Fully charged up the Ventus Pro was showing 'green' meaning it was full or near full.  I filled each tire from about 10psi to 55psi ... in about a minute each ... and did it fairly quietly for it too.  It was showing 'orange' for battery.

When he got home, the one tire needed refilling, and I filled it up, and it was now showing red for battery.

So essentially it would have been 30% ... meaning to fill 3 tires was 70% used.  So at best I might have only 4 tires to fill before I would have to recharge it.  But that's okay, it's only meant as that sort of 'as needed'/emergency style.

I can also use it in the vehicle, plugged into the DC outlet of the van.  Now, note that the DC plug doesn't charge the device, it only charges via the USB plug.

I like that it has the extra plugs, the light... and a nice bag to hold everything.

Except, it would have been nice to have something hold those extra plugs, so they're not just rattling around at the bottom of the bag.  The bag is just big enough to hold the pump, and then putting in the extra items, you have to kinda jenga it in a way so that it doesn't keep something from poking out.

You do have to unscrew the hose, which I'm sure should be fine, just it would have been nice to leave it screwed in semi-permanently.

Overall, it's a great addition to my 'just in case' accessories in the vehicle!
