Using the Canvas feature on OnePlus Pad 2

this was an update on the original Pad, but I somehow didn't notice it.  Whereas on the Pad 2 it was really baked in and the draw your attention to it in a couple places.

Essentially, what it's doing is a faster way for you to do split screen.

Before this, if you wanted side by side apps, you'd have to open one, then swipe up from the bottom to see the app/task cards and then tap the three dots to put it into 'split screen's mode.

With Canvas, all you have to do is a two finger swipe down from the top middle.

So easy to do, and really makes multitasking that much easier and getting the tablet to feel like a laptop instead.

Plus, there are still a bunch of apps that DO NOT LIKE landscape mode, and OnePlus doesn't handle them well. There's a setting to force landscape, but it's only like Instagram and Facebook; whereas FB Messenger or Reddit can't be forced.

So, for those apps, when I want to open them up, I just open something else up and use Canvas to have it side by side.  Easy peasy!

There is the method as well that instead of just swiping from the middle top, you can swipe up from the bottom to get a little 'app tray' and then drag from that to the side or even the bottom (and get 3 apps at once), but I'm easily amused by 2, distracted by 3.
