Google Home is transferring some Nest cameras

So last night, settled into bed and got into my routine where I check my cameras in Google Home.  2 of them (the Nest Doorbelland the Nest Hub Max) are from Nest, but I can view them in Home.  It's great to see, but if I have anything in particular to check on those Nest cams, I have to go to the Nest app.

Until last night.  I got a notice that Home would transfer compatible cameras TO the Home app.

Turns out the front doorbell (older nest wired model) is compatible (sorry sink hub)

It asked if I wanted to do the transfer as it would mean that it'd be unavailable for about 30 minutes.  Sure, if it means more features in the one app I like to use for as much as possible, why not.

It didn't take 30 minutes but then I can now have more of a scrollable timeline for the doorbell... mind you that's only for any 'newer' events that come up.

It also means that in Nest I can't see the doorbell... meh.  I can use it to view the timeline for before the swap.

Pretty cool! Hopefully the Hub Max will be next.
