As discussed at the Made By Google event recently, the Pixel Buds Pro just got the firmware update to allow now for 'conversation mode' and some hearing wellness.
The update took about 5 minutes to apply and you got notice of the new features when done.
Conversation Mode - now when you have your buds in your ear listening to your podcast and someone talks to you, you can just start talking back to them and the buds will detect your speech and pause the media, then switch to 'transparency mode' where you can hear them better.
Hearing Wellness - monitors your volume and length of time of usage etc, to give you better tips to make sure you're not doing any damage to yourself.
