Coming soon they say!
Now, the a variants have never really been for me (Canada never did get the 5a if I recall; but we did get 2 of the 4a models, the 4a and the 4a 5G) as I like the full experience and full guts, but for some people they don't need it, and the a models really help save the pocketbook expense of a brand new phone, but allow them to still get top grade equipment and Googley goodness.
Here's what Google filled us in on at IO for the new Pixel 6a model:
- $599CDN
- 6.1" @ 2400x1080

- 6GB RAM
- 128GB storage
- Rear cameras
- 12.2MP (f/1.7, 27mm, 1/2.55", 1.4um)
- 12MP ultrawide (f/2.2, 17mm, 114degrees, 1.25um)
- Front camera
- 8MP (f/2.0, 24mm, 1.12um)
- 4410mAh battery
- In display fingerprint sensor (was really hoping they'd go back to the back panel)
