Roku meets it's 100+ Live TV channel milestone

Chances are if you're streaming your shows and movies, you're probably doing it from a Roku device.  Roku in this past year really took hold and started their own streaming with Roku Hits, so they're now not only the device, but they are a provider now too (starting with their purchase of Quibi).

Now, they've just passed the 100 Live TV channel milestone (what?  a whole Doctor Who channel!!).  Check it out:

with the Launch of 23 New Channels

Toronto, ON. – December 7, 2021Roku, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROKU) announced today 23 new Live TV channels on The Roku Channel. The new channels expand the Live TV offering in The Roku Channel to more than 100 Live TV channels. The Roku Channel is available for free to users of Roku® streaming players and Roku TV™ models in Canada.

 

The new releases span categories such as movies, TV, sports, crime and food. Now Canadians can stream Doctor Who 24 hours a day for those who can’t get enough of time travel and adventure, or Reuters for newsbuffs that want to stay up-to-date on international news. The launch of the new Live TV channels means Roku users have more choice, as the existing library of more than 25,000 free movies and TV episodes continues to grow on The Roku Channel.
