Recently, we got our Android 12 official update. I love it, yet my wife is kinda "meh" about it.
I like the new update. But we just got news of a new update to the update... well, not really an update, rather a variant of Android 12 called Android 12 L
The idea is that 12L is designed for devices with really large screens. Reminded me of the old Android 3.0 - Honeycomb. It was a version of Android ONLY for tablets.
Android 12L looks like it's just a variant of 12 which has addons and abilities for large screens, like easier multitasking.
Maybe this is a bit of that precursor for my hope of the eventual convergence of ChromeOS and Android. fingers_crossed
