Well this is a cool new feature - I didn't see it in any of the other betas.
It's a Tap the Back feature called "Quick Tap".
I was always kinda sad they lost the 'squeeze for Assistant' feature from the Pixel 3. Well, in the new Android 12 we get to tap the back.
Seriously, did I miss this somehow? It's not in the Pixel 5.
So, kinda cool that you can have a bit of that quick access to the Assistant with a gesture.
Well, not just the Assistant... it could be launching another app, or take a screenshot or play/pause media.
Neat.
