During a lockdown and poor weather (c'mon, where's Spring?) not much else to do but stream - and I like to stream games with Stadia.
Today I checked out a newer game on the platform called Kaze and the Wild Masks
It plays kinda like a Sonic game, a side scroller platform game.
Pretty fun so far. Not too tricky (I say just as I cut the stream and play a trickier game) - just enough platforming skills to get around and if you want to 100% a level - get every gem, find both hidden bonus levels.
Reminds me of an old comic, Usagi Yojimbo, friends of mine really liked in high school. Rabbits running around as ninjas killing like carrots and stuff.
The masks part of the name comes in as a power up on some levels. In the video you can see getting a bird mask allowing flight, and in another there's a shark mask allowing swimming.
Fun game, easy at first and it's been quickly mounting into some frustration as I try to 100% a level. Luckily, there's no 'lives' in this game. Just retry...
Why don't you give it a try!
