Lots of talk lately with Android 12 looming, but that doesn't stop good ol' Goog from supplying updates as needed.
The most recent updates that came through lead off with enhanced passwords. Not only does your Android device store your passwords for you and recall them as needed (so handy when you set up new phones as often as I do); it will also keep checking that password against other compromised ones
Now, this was available in the Google Account Management on the web, but now it will do it on your phone automatically, rather than searching through some web settings.
Additionally, you can now also schedule messages to send at specific times, enhanced TalkBack features, a dark mode for Maps, Google Assistant cards in more places and more feature for Android Auto.
