I really liked the Essential phone, solid build, bringer of the 'notch' - and thusly a full'ish screen device - and an innovative method for accessories. Really missing that 360 cam these days. I should have picked one up during their sales. It would have been nice to have around.
Well, the device got a little sweeter as I believe this is the first non-Pixel device to get their Android Pie update.
They're rolling the update out and in Canada it'll be via Telus OTA (assuming that if you bought it separate from the carrier you should still get the update)
