Heartbeat helps you become a brand ambassador

So, I think I hit that age ... I don't really listen to new music anymore, and it's hard for me to keep up with the different social medias.

A couple years back working with a client on their marketing strategy I was mentioning social media and he pointed out "you missed Instagram" and I rebutted that I thought it was small, and he retorted that he gets a lot of his hits from there.  Reflecting on it, I just realize that I wasn't keeping up, just because it wasn't something I jumped on, I dismissed it.

Now, you really can't dismiss Instagram.  It's big.  Really big.  I still don't get it.  But there are a lot of 'influencers' on there these days.  You always hear that some Kardashian or other celebrity is making millions just promoting a product on it.

Well, now maybe you could too.  There's an app called Heartbeat which helps put people in touch with brands that line up for them and you could get free product.

The line up is typically looking for women and their ambassadors have between 300 and 5,000 followers.

They even have an "Ambassadors University" for you to 'attend' online and learn about best practices when sharing on Instagram.

Apparently, guys are allowed to join, but most of the brands align with a female demographic.

Doubtful anybody's going to join this and then quit their day job, but if you've got a following, why not ... some free product and maybe a kickback.  Why not?

Heartbeat Launches New App to Make it Easier Than Ever for Instagram Users to Become Paid Influencers

Heartbeat “Ambassadors” Receive Free Products and are Paid to Share Brands They Love on Social Media

VENICE, CA, May 7, 2018 – Heartbeat, the leading platform rewarding women for sharing brands they love on Instagram, today announced the launch of a new app for iOS and Android. The app makes it easier than ever for women to sign up to become a Heartbeat “Ambassador” and provides a fast way for Ambassadors to learn about new campaigns offering free products, services and/or payments for branded posts. Heartbeat believes that you don’t need millions of followers or a fancy wardrobe to be treated like a top-shelf influencer.

Heartbeat’s brand roster includes: Amazon, Sony Music, Netflix, Warner Bros., Saks Fifth Avenue, H&M, Goop and many others.

The app for iOS is available on the App Store at: itunes.apple.com/us/app/heartbeat-for-ambassadors/id1362278157?ls=1&mt=8

The app for Android is on Google Play at: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.getheartbeatapp

Via the app, Heartbeat is connecting brands directly with the consumers that love them. App users can access the Heartbeat Dashboard to review current campaigns, view earnings to date, see new campaign opportunities, invite friends to join Heartbeat and learn ways that they can build their exposure, to be offered higher-profile and greater paying campaigns. In addition, Ambassadors can sign up for “push notifications” alerting them to new opportunities, directly on their phone. Heartbeat even created “Heartbeat University” to help Ambassadors learn the ins and outs of posting for brands on their personal social media channels.

Getting started on Heartbeat is simple:
- Sign up via the new app or on GetHeartbeat.co to become an Ambassador and unlock the opportunities. Ambassadors get paid and/or receive product samples or services to represent the best brands on social media and in the real world.
- Complete your Ambassador Profile and be paired with brands that match you best. The more you engage with Heartbeat, the better your matches.
- Become part of a brand’s community and be invited and incentivized to post online, get paid, enter contests, engage in live events and collaborate with others.

“The new Heartbeat app will allow us to better interact with our Ambassadors and reward Heartbeat’s community for posting on Instagram about brands they genuinely love, amplifying their voices and creating movements,” said Brian Freeman, CEO of Heartbeat. “Our brand partners want to work with real women who actually want to use their products and services, not just promote them. Authenticity is important to them! Companies engage with the Heartbeat community to promote their products and services, launch surveys and more, so there are lots of ways Ambassadors can make some extra money!”

Ambassadors on Heartbeat typically have between 300 and 5,000 followers, but the most important thing is engagement. If an Ambassador has real followers and is getting a high number of likes and comments, they are more likely to be offered paying campaigns or campaigns with product gifting. The Heartbeat payrate will be listed on the Ambassador’s profile once they sign up, and the payrate can increase based on factors related to the quality of the users’ account.

The Heartbeat “Authenticity Engine” uses machine learning to look at 60 different factors of an Ambassador’s Instagram account to determine their rate, favoring friends and family followers over the audience typically generated by an influencer. Ambassadors will be paid either a flat rate for each campaign they apply to and are accepted for or will receive a free product or service in exchange for their post. Some campaigns are non-paid, and Ambassadors of course have the option to simply ignore a campaign if they would prefer not to participate. This ensures Ambassadors who authentically like the products they’re looking to promote participate.
