Hrmm... so a while back, I think it was with the first LG V model, the V10 that we had discussions about what a QuadDAC was and LG's push to have quality sound come out of our devices. Then there was the G5's 'friend'/mod that gave you a quality B&O headphone jack.
There's a real push by LG to have great sound, in an era where many devices are starting to remove the jack.
For CES this year LG is announcing a partnership with Meridian Audio.
Now, what does this mean? We have the press release below, but there's no indication if this is something to help with their mobile line up, or home audio ... still, interesting how it shows that despite peopel moving towards more 'convenient' technology, there still is the desire for 'quality'.
