I’ve had a few mix & match charging solution for my devices. So I’ve moved all my tablets to a dock that’s connected via AC as seen in one of the pictures and will use the USB Type-C and USB-A ports for all my other charging needs. Make so much more sense. The power strip works as advertised for charging everything you might have, I haven’t tripped the power bar on purpose to see about its capability in preventing surge.
This is an all-in-one solution and does respect the standard when it comes to providing you with the optimum charging speed. The 3 USB-A port will deliver up to 2.4A worth of power which is standard and the USB-C port will give you the typical 3A/5V. When the total output is higher than 8 Amps the top two USB smart ports (USB A and B) will take priority using all the amps they need (up to 2.4A) in order to charge the fastest, the rest of the ports will share the leftover amps. Port C&D are wired for products enabling them to charge faster than if they were plugged into ports E&F. Port E&F are more suitable for other devices including Android.
