We love our tech - but sometimes we need to unplug

It's summer time... okay, not officially until like June 21st or so, but it's warm enough outside to do all my mowing and the fire ban's been lifted in my neck of the woods so I'm having my fire bowl going for s'mores and I'm sorting the garage so the camping gear is ready to be inspected and aired out before we take it out.

Gotta love summer time.  As high tech as I am (usually have 2 phones in my pocket, accessories out the wazoo, etc...) I love being able to take the time out of my work life and enjoy the great outdoors and my family.  Sometimes it's good to put the devices away.

This neat infographic came my way today about the importance of having a 'tech-free vacation'.  It came to me via +Entrepreneur which they got from Modis and it's really pause worthy.

Now, mind you a lot of this is US study based, but I can't see there being too much of a difference for Canada.  Interesting they suggest Scotland as a getaway location.  *Someday*
