So, usually when there's a conference, the date the event says it starts is the date everything begins. Sometimes there's a mixer or networking event the evening before, but not always.
For some reason the electronics world always likes to pack the week leading up to the event with press events and launches... leaving the rest of the week to... to what? I guess just wander the halls trying to get in hands-on write ups that you didn't get to before the actual event?
Anyways, enough of my rambling. Although IFA doesn't officially (bunny ears implied) start until Friday the launch events are already happening. Today was Asus, Huawei, Lenovo... and others. It's 9AM for me and they've been at it for a while over in Berlin.
As in previous events we can't be there, but we are trying to keep track of the all the talked about bits and keep track in a database for you (see below).
