Free phone calls now available to all WhatsApp users!

WhatsApp is on the same wagon that a lot of other popular instant messaging platforms are doing; Giving the ability to its user base to do voice chats.

Of course you don't get your own phone number, but you can indeed reach out to any of your contacts on WhatsApp in real time.

This brings WhatsApp in line with many other platforms. Hopefully this will only help them grow bigger. If you recall they were acquired by Facebook not that long ago. We can only speculate as to what we will see in the future!

I'd like to know if our readers are using WhatsApp and why? What does it have more then any other platforms such as Skype and Viber?
