Motorola promises upgrades to 5.0 for Moto lineup

So, it's been a hairy day for news, and I'm just trying to scramble my way through it all before our show starts in a bit.

But, just wanted to let you know that Motorola has reached out and has said that their line up of Moto products will be getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade:

More Android All Around
It’s no secret we love Android. That’s why every one of our Moto phones is built on a foundation of pure Android - it’s easier to use, delivers amazing performance and lets you choose how you want to use your phone. So we have more sweet Android news to share...
Once Android 5.0 Lollipop is officially released, we will bring this latest upgrade to some of our other Motorola devices, as well. This includes Moto X (1st & 2nd Gen), Moto G (1st and 2nd Gen), Moto G with 4G LTE and Moto E. We’re still working out the details on timing and the upgrade depends on our partners' support so stay tuned to our software upgrades page for the latest and greatest.

I'm kind of blown away by the E getting the update even.  So why can't we get it for some older devices with the same RAM etc..?

Good job Motorola.  Now, let's see how fast those updates come in.

Definitely recommend visiting their upgrade page for information.  As soon as we get any info, we'll share it along!
