By sliding left or right you can have your apps sorted by recent, most used and last downloaded as well as alphabetical - handy when you're comparing apps with similar names.
The search function is really nice as well. As you type in letters, apps are filtered for you. Get to the app you can and tap launch. You have the option of showing how many times you launch an app if you are re - designing your home screens.
