One thing that some Nexus 4 owners were sad about when they first picked up their devices, was their beloved browser was missing and all they had to work with was Google Chrome. Don't get me wrong, Google Chrome is awesome, but sometimes the classic browsers we know and love call our names.
For those people, we now know a method to get your classic browser back without rooting your phone.

Following his simple steps, you should be able to get it running no problem. It's made for and tested on the Nexus 4, but in theory it should work for nearly all phones. Because it doesn't require root access, there is no worry of screwing anything up.
If you want to get your hands on the old AOSP Browser again, head on over to the This XDA forum page to pick up this browser.
