I'm not a creative type... at all.
I don't mind writing, but often I do use some AI to help 'kickstart' the narrative and then I edit away.
I do a bit of social media for our football and pipeband, so I'm always working on getting imagery for those posts or website. For that, I tend do Google Image Search a lot.
Well, that might just get easier with the new app on Pixel 9; the Pixel Studio.
This is similar to the ImageFX on the web, where you can give it a prompt and it'll try to generate an image. But this is on your phone.
Check it out.
Not too shabby eh? As I mentioned, we were looking for images to use in a small activity book at the community centre, and it was faster to have it generate a decent image than the time it would take to do a Google Image Search, hope it was transparent, or try to make it one.
Pretty cool stuff.
It doesn't do well with 'people'. Any time I've asked it to make a person or a crowd it gets skittish and refuses. I still like it, and I appreciate their hesitancy in that manner.
How would you use Pixel Studio?
