For over 7 years I've been pretty 'one sided' when it comes to my daily driver. I'd used the Pixel 2XL and kept my SIM in that line of devices ever since. 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5, 6, 7Pro, 8...
I've reviewed LOTS of phones since then, but nothing has popped the Pixel out of the daily use.
Well, I've received a bunch of devices from OnePlus, and it's now everything that would parallel my Pixel realm.
I though it'd be a great experiment to try out the full lineup as a Pixel replacement for a whole month:
- Pixel 8 -> OnePlus 12
- Pixel Watch 2 -> OnePlus Watch 2
- Pixel Buds Pro -> OnePlus Buds 3
- Pixel Stand 2 -> OnePlus AirVOOC
- Pixel Tablet -> OnePlus Pad
It's June 1st, and I'll let you know know how my journey goes and give my decision after July 1st.
Off the hop there are a few things I think that aren't straight parallels, but I'll make do.
To be fair it should have been the Pixel 8 Pro for the OnePlus 12; his will fee like an upgrade.
The Pixel Buds Pro do seem like the better option over the OnePlus Buds 3, maybe should have used the OnePlus Buds Pro2 (not having wireless charging feels a little archaic).
Anyhoots - we're off on an experiment!
