Well, I don't know if it's so much a 'chat tool' that Bard will be, everybody's hailing it as the Google answer to ChatGPT, but I think Google has bigger plans.
Yesterday, on their blog, they launched Bard (to a select group of testers) as a means to take the breadth of the internet to distill the ideas into consumable bites.
It's built on Transformer, which Google built, and ChatGPT utilizes for its tool.
It's definitely interesting days ahead - I do prefer to stick with a 'one Google' option myself, but I may be alone in that kind of thinking. I do know that once it opens up to more beta testers I'm going to do my best to find a way to get on it!
