I gotta hand it to Sony - it may not be the fastest for updates out there, but it's on Pie before the LG G7 One (yes, I said it was getting it, but I have yet to see it on my device); even better, the company actually emails you when the updates are ready.
My Pixel doesn't even do that.
The latest update is merely a security update (December 1st 2018), so no new fancy features.
Fairly large file for just security, but an update is an update and not many other devices are on the December security patch.
