So, I tend to ebb and flow around what games I play on my devices. Some weeks I play no games, some weeks I try a bunch of new ones. I'm always looking for something new to catch my interest. Sure, I have my daily play of Pokemon Go, Jurassic World Alive and Boom Beach, but I'd like something new.
My son's trying to get me on Fortnite, but ... well, I'll have an article at some point on my thoughts for that. PUBG isn't bad but games are either 1 minute or 35 it seems. Ain't nobody got time for that!
So, then this came across my desk the other day and I thought I'd try it out as it hasa new update. Portal Knights
So, the game seems to be a mix of Minecraft (have a bit of a creative world where you can explore, destroy and create) and ... well, an RPG with quests and activities.
I'll be giving it a try and see if I can figure it out and doing some plays with it.
The latest update (which will be new to me, as is the whole game) is their 'villainous' update, meaning there's some new hard bosses and new exploration areas.
