If you're like me, you have TONS of photos that you had printed out, or inherited albums from grandmothers etc... tons of photos that just are sitting somewhere.
Well, Google's come up with a cool way to use your phone to 'scan' the images and put them into your Google Photos album.
Similar to the ol Photo Sphere method (it lets you take a photo first tho') that it gives you little dots to move your camera over in order to get a better feel for the photo and how to align it properly so it looks like a photo, rather than a photo of a photo.
Well, the video does a bang up job explaining.
I gave it a try on a few photos of my own, here's me trying some of the 'art' we have.
I like how it tells you which dot to go to next.
A quick couple shots does make it look a little fuzzy, so take your time.
You can also edit to adjust the corners after the fact if you think it aligned a little askew.
Going to have a lot of fun with this soon.
