Pandora acquires Rdio key players and tech - The end is near

Everyone who's everyone already is already streaming content online, whether it's movies, music, tv shows it doesn't matter. Each and everyone uses a service they like for X reason. As of late Rdio key assets are being acquired by Pandora, this includes staff and technology. With this 75 million dollar acquisition Rdio is to cease operations shortly.

Pandora made it quite clear that they do not plan to take over the operations of Rdio, this is purely an acquisition of the tech and staff. Now for this deal to go through, it needs to be approved by the bankruptcy court.

Rdio has been a favorite among many players in the Android field and we are going to miss it!
