I know we're all awaiting the LG G4. Hopefully many of you have entered the TryLGG4.ca contest to get your own for testing during June (remember deadline is May 24th).
We also heard that the G4 should be coming here in June - and Wind even said it on twitter that it was coming on June 19th
No word on other carriers yet.
But we also got word that there was some new companions in the G4 line up - specifically the G4 Stylus and the G4c (i.e. compact).
The G4 Stylus looks like it will come to this side of the Pacific and here's what you'd get with it:

So not as 'full' as the G4 itself. Especially at just 720p it'll be 1/4 of the resolution.
How about the compact version? Compact versions of the flagship phone usually do quite well:
- 5" @ 720p
- 1.2GHz x4
- 1GB RAM
- 8GB storage + microSD
- 8MP / 5MP
- 2540mAh
- Android 5.0
Hrmm... it also falls well below being just a smaller version of the G4; which is a real shame - that's where the Sony compacts really excel. They are similar phones just with smaller screens.
Now, there's no word on true availability of the devices in North America (it looks like T-Mobile will be getting the G4 Stylus) - and even if it would come up to Canada. I'm not holding my breath.
I really wish the Stylus was the full G4 specs but with the pen. That'd be pretty awesome.
