You know, that device I reviewed almost a year ago? The original flexible display (that actually shipped, whereas the Galaxy Round didn't) was a funny little quirky phone.
It bent, and had a self-healing back... it never did take off. To this day, I haven't seen anyone carry it around. The big problem was that for the price you got a HUGE phone (6") with a laughably low pixel count. It made it look worse than the Galaxy Nexus for resolution.
Well, the G Flex 2 has been announced and this time around it's still not the top of the pack for specs, but it's not laughably bad either.

What's cool is they say the glass is now 20% more durable... and last year we saw a lot of bloggers really put that thing through it's bending test (way before #bendgate).
The healing back has returned and is apparently even faster (this time healing in ~10 seconds).
So, the only real place that this device lags behind 'flagships' would be with the display and the RAM. I'm really curious to give this one a go around. Now, we just wait to hear about the price!
