The the magical day is finally upon us!
After rumors after rumors and fake blog postings for ratings, we finally have the end product.
The Nexus 5 went on sale at about 11:05AM PST to my knowledge, and was all sold out just shy of 11:25AM PST
Took roughly 20 minutes for the entire stock of Nexus 5 to sell out. Thankfully I a wonderful wife and an amazing team here at +Android Coliseum that helped me keep an eye on the availability of the Nexus 5 while I was at work.
If you weren't as fortunate as I was to have people looking out for you, you likely missed your chance if you didn't catch it until your next coffee break at your job. I feel sorry for those individuals that'll have to wait til next round of shipment. Sadly I know our very own +Ryan Moore is one of those few. If this year is anything like the last, it'll take roughly 3 weeks or so before they stock up.
If you're one of those people who's got more money than common sense, you could always resort to eBay if your patients is getting the best of you. The prices range from laughable to outrageous.
