Canadian Carriers Start 2 Year Contracts, But Charge You More

Not long ago we heard some news that Canada was having their cellular laws and regulations updated and altered. Most appealing was the 2 year contract implementation, but they're going to charge you more per month in lieu of 3 years.

Many carriers have already confirmed a $5 to $10 increase on their monthly price plans, which comes as a bit of a shock as Canada is already one of the most expensive countries in the world for phones and plans.

So is this acceptable as a Canadian user? We may not like it, we'll probably moan and bitch about it, but the Canadian spirit inside us all well go, "Eh... I guess I can pay a little more, hows aboot it friend?".

What are your views on this. Still happy with 2 years despite paymore more per month, or would you rather keep 3 years and pay a little less? Let us know your thoughts.
