Chrome Beta wants to help you save data

Did you see this new feature in the Chrome Beta?

Great little feature for those of you on a data diet.


Fire up Chrome Beta and you should get 'invited', otherwise it should be an option in the settings (I couldn't find it under the chrome://flags setting)

So far, in just a few days I've saved some 21%.  Now, mind you, most of my data is coming via other apps, and not the browser... but still... savings is savings!
