I got the Oreo update, but didn't even notice anything about the Assistant being installed too until just recently (and I also just recently learned that the Nexus Player has a button on the underside for BT pairing!!).
So I had to try it out. I wasn't sure how it would really work in a TV setting. I mean, what would I need to use it for?
See how well it really worked.
Turns out not too bad. And after playing with it for a bit, you really start to guess what sorts of circumstances you can use it in while watching TV.
I think I might start being able to win arguments a lot easier now.
After using it, it definitely makes me want to get a Google Home.
