Google Toys in the wings? Announcement with Mattel on Feb 13

So, the day before Valentine's day Google wants to have an event with Mattel to 'view what's possible'.

What could Google and Mattel be up to?  I wonder what it could be?


  • A line of Android tablets?
    • (no Android branding)
  • Android figurines
    • (DeadZebra seems to be making a killing with his)
  • A 'Google Cardboard' version of the View-Master
    • that's probably the most likely as the invitation looks like the disk/reel

Guess we'll have to wait until February 13th.  

It better not be something that I could buy for Valentine's Day for my wife (I've already got her her gift).
