Do you like rumours? [Poll]

Earlier this week I posted about my distaste for a recent rumour.  Which gets me thinking... what are your thoughts on rumours?

Do "loose lips, sink ships" or do they help build up for future purchases?

Sure they make for great headlines, and excellent link bait... just like Gizmodo's frequent "Which is better iOS or Android" articles where they sit back, watch the fireworks and the adsense roll in.  But is there such a thing as too much?
