We're all creatures of habit.Some things we do out of just reflex. Just like me and asking my weekly question for the poll.
I like to ask to understand who it is that's following us. Android is not just an OS, it's a community. And Communities talk to each other.
So, last week we asked you a question as to "Would You Take an Android Course?". It came about because I saw an ad for a course on "Android Photography", and was really curious about it.
So, would you take a course? Well, looks like I kinda worded it in the wrong way. I was meaning for something like these 'community college' type courses.... but still the results are interesting.
| Yes (I need all the help I can get) | 12% | ||
| Yes (I love Android and want EVERYTHING to do with it) | 50% | ||
| Maybe | 10% | ||
| No (I was into Android before it was cool) | 26% | ||
| Other | 2% |
So, almost 2/3 of you want to take some course.
But what kind of course?
| General Usage | 9% | ||
| Productivity Apps | 12% | ||
| Photography | 3% | ||
| Rooting / Flashing / etc... | 22% | ||
| How to show off in front of your iOS friends | 16% | ||
| Developing | 34% | ||
| Gaming | 3% | ||
| Other | 1% |
So, lots of you want to learn about Developing. I guess I could have worded it separately to ask if you had some, or none... because to learn to develop you'd have a lot of courses to take. Ask our guest Mike from the #18 hangout.
But a good number of you would take just some general apps. Pretty fun stuff. I think I will sign up for that course myself. I'll let you know how it goes.
