You can't turn around these days without seeing AI talked about in some mode or another. I was just at a conference and I would estimate about 1/3rd of the topics were involving AI and automation.
I've been waiting for Google to bring about Gemini Nano, which it has on the 8 Pro, onto the Pixel 8.

Earlier today, at Google Cloud Next '24 we announced our integration of Google's most powerful AI model, Gemini 1.0 and Gemini 1.5, into our devices. We also aim to be the first to launch features based on the Gemini platform on smartphones later this year. Unveiled today and launching later in 2024, Gemini on smartphones promises to completely change the way users interact with their devices.
We have already introduced multiple Generative AI models to over ten million users in China, allowed them to access AI Generated Content on the fly. Generative AI is a game-changer, and I believe we are well-placed to bring its benefits to users worldwide.
By collaborating with Google to integrate both Gemini and Google Cloud AI into smartphones, and by forming alliances with other industry pioneers for a variety of AI experiences, we are thrilled to broaden the scope of mobile AI innovations.

We have received great feedback from our beta testers who have praised the capablities of AI Eraser.
Additionally, we are also partnering with Google to integrate other Cloud AI products into upcoming releases. This will enable future OnePlus phones to leverage AI for news article summarization, audio summarization, and generating new social media content.
